Locations and Directions to Alex’s Kitchen

Alex’s Kitchen is located in the ground floor of Anasuya Commercial Complex which is towards the end of Himayat Nagar – Liberty main road on the left side. It is just a few yards away from Dadu’s and Universal Bakers. Alex’s Kitchen isn’t that easily visible to the eye from the main road! You will have to drive slowly after passing Dadu’s and watch out for an insignificant commercial complex on the left. Only when you stop your vehicle here and have a look inside that you can notice this Chinese Restaurant – Alex’s Kitchen in Himayath Nagar.

First Impressions of Alex’s Kitchen

When you enter Alex Kitchen, you will be pleasantly surprised about its neatness. It is a small place but looks quite beautiful with its well decked up Chinese interiors. From the waiters to the guy sitting near the billing counter, the walls, the things in the racks, the calendar and ultimately to the food – everything indeed looks and tastes Chinese! I am sure the ambience here is going to be quite good although it can look stuffed up when there are lot of customers coming in to this small place. Alex’s Kitchen actually has two restaurants side-by-side by merging the ‘Mostly Momos’ with it. So let’s say this is not the best, but certainly one of the most authentic and yet economical Chinese restaurants in Hyderabad city.

People simply love the delicious momos at the Alex Kitchen. The cost of the food here is modestly priced, not too expensive and yet not too economical. You can expect to shell down a minimum of Rs 500 for two persons if you want to fill up your stomachs.

Alex’s Kitchen – Chinese Restaurant Review

Alex’s Kitchen in Himayat Nagar is certainly a must-go place if you haven’t been there atleast once. I have been there thrice in a short period of time. The first time I bought parcel of Veg Hakka Noodles, Veg Momos and Veg Manchuria. I got to swear that this was the best noodles that I ever had in my life. The momos were simple yet there was something good about its garlic taste. Though I enjoyed this Chinese food, it didn’t go well with my stomach, so advice is not to eat a lot of this and keep it limited.

The next time, I took my wife to introduce Alex’s Kitchen in Himayat Nagar. We had Tomato Soup and Veg Soft Noodles. This time the noodles weren’t that great so next time I wanted my wife to taste Veg Hakka Noodles. Also ordered Tomato Soup but the crumps put in that smelled very eggy. The Veg Hakka Noodles were alright. Everything was fine, the restaurant ambience, the timely serving of food and the taste. One thought was that the waiters or the owner of the restaurant look so serious and don’t have smiling faces! There are many Chinese Restaurants in Hyderabad like Alex’s Kitchen, but perhaps not as affordable as the latter!
